Ah, the last days of summer.
My friend Stacy texted and said they were going to the Children’s Museum downtown to ride the Trolley and invited us to come. It was SO much fun and definitely brought back memories of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.
Here comes the Trolley! And I loved the little conductor guys! They were awesome.
Attempting to take a selfie with three kids looks interesting I’m sure. The nice gal in front of us offered to take a proper photo for us and it was very much appreciated.
Looks so much better! And Travis actually smiled for it!
Our view from the back.
Our view of gorgeous Denver!
The boys really enjoyed the ride.
So pretty! The ride lasted about ten minutes but it was filled with a lot of Denver history. The trolley conductor shared some amazing facts. It was fun and educational!
Little Man Ice Cream was SO worth the long line wait! And really, for how long the line actually was, they moved pretty quickly. The ice cream was yummy and affordable. They also gave you huge scoops!
Live harp music while we waited in line.
Gwenevere was pooped. She was such a good little girl the entire time.
They have a HUGE slide behind the building where the kids got to blow off some steam. My boys bonked their heads just before we took this photo but rest assured, they healed quickly and enjoyed the rest of the night.
We had such a great time and I’m glad we could share it with good friends. Thanks so much for inviting us Stacy!
Kid pile!!!
