Family Fishing at Taryall June 20th, 2014

Every now and then Joe takes a personal day off from work. Its really been nice with this new job with the paid time off and all. We’ve really enjoyed having family time with this guy. This particular PTO day, we hightailed it to Taryall Lake! Joe loves to fish, even with his boys which is amazing, so we relaxed and had a really nice day. It had been a while since the boys had gone fishing and I’m pretty certain this was Gwen’s first time. I even packed her extra clothes which was smart because she fell in the lake not even fifteen minutes after we arrived and set up. Luckily, I put her first set of clothes out to dry on a  big rock because just before we left, she fell in again and her first set of clothes were already dry! She was so funny.

The dragonflies were “in bloom” the whole time we were there. They looked like these little fish in the water and then they would pop out of the water, peel out of their fish skin and spread their wings and take off. It was really neat to watch.
