Enoch Turns 8 June 17th, 2014

May to July 2014 306
Enoch turned 8 this year. I mean WOW. Getting baptized, only four years until he receives the Priesthood, 3rd grade, bigger, smarter, taller, stronger, more amazing than ever!!! Enoch still amazes me every single day. To know where he started at, in the beginning – 4 lbs, 7 ounces, 17 1/2 inches long. Surgery at two days old, more surgery at 3 months, 6 months, and then at five years! He’s been through SO much yet he always comes out on the other side stronger and braver than ever. And to see him as a healthy, strong, smart 8 year old, it truly amazes me. And he’s touched so many people’s lives with his sweet spirit. This boy will grow into an amazing man and he will do great things one day. I can just feel it in ever fiber of my being. I love this kid to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond. I love that he is my oldest, he is my learning curve, he’s taught me SO much in this life and he’s so patient with me as a mother. I love him.
Enoch, you are one of the greatest blessings we’ve ever received in this life. To know that our Heavenly Father has trusted us with your sweet spirit just… It just amazes me beyond measure. I can’t wait to see what you do in this life and the life beyond. And I’m so happy and proud to know that I get to spend this life and eternities with you kiddo. You’re simply the best.
Happy 8th Birthday Enoch! We adore you son!

We had a family birthday celebration at home. When you have as much family living as close as we do, there’s no need for fancy festivities because the huge family makes it amazing. We let the kids invite one or two friends and their families to join us as well. The Nardones and the Taylors were invited by Enoch this year. He had a lot of fun and was so gracious.

Legos make this kid happy! And Mom is now happy about them too because he’s finally started building them on his own! HA!
Happy 8th kiddo, we love you!
