Happy Halloween

Halloween was fun and quiet for us this year. The boys had gotten costumes probably a month prior to Halloween so there was really no prep on my part this year besides purchasing the candy. We carved out pumpkins two nights before Halloween and were ready for the holiday. Enoch was pretty disappointed that he didn't have the day off from school for Halloween but we talked about it and he finally realized that nothing actually happened on Halloween until the evening time so it wasn't that bad going to school during the day.
I did miss not making my boys' costumes this year. There's just something about being able to make them a little unique for the event. We always have next years! And the boys did look pretty cute. : )

Storm Shadow (GI joe) and Bumblebee!

The little monster with the boys is Marshall, the little guy we watch during the week. I made the mistake of giving him a few dum dums at the beginning of the night so he kept coming back for more. I'm sure mom and dad were just thrilled with me and all the sugar I was passing out. Haha. Eh, it's one night a year when they get to pig out on candy, right????? ; )

Enoch & Travis with their buddy Camden. Enoch & Camden have known each other since they were about 8 months old. Life long buddies so far!! : )

And moi!! No photos of Joe, he's not a huge fan. He doesn't really like Halloween much. He's not too big on the idea of pretending I suppose. ; ) This is me with Robin and Laura. Robin is a friend of Laura's who came with them for the evening. Laura is in the red jeans. We had a fun night!

My costume was a lazy lady's costume. It was a thought bubble taped to my tummy for baby, "I'm dressed up as my mom.". It was good for a laugh. :)

Happy Halloween!!!

Ha! Cute photos! The trunk or treat was fun - and Marshall is addicted to suckers. Crazy to see how many suckers were in his bucket from halloween, so I think next year I will be more "encouraging" of what candy he chooses ; )

Your boys costumes were awesome! I think its okay to have an "off" year from costume making - especially on a year when you are pregnant! It means you can go all out next year .... and include baby girl Doxey in the fun! :)
