Merry Christmas

So this post is a little late but honestly, who has time to post during the holidays? Christmas was small yet great this year.

We spent Christmas Eve at my family’s house and had a blast. The kids enjoyed ripping into the gifts with great abandon and the adults had fun watching. We received many great gifts and gave some great gifts. The food was awesome and so was the dessert I hear. I didn’t have a chance to try the black forest trifle that my Mother threw together but Mom, I hear everyone adored it. We all went home with our arms and bellies filled.

Alana’s husband, Sean, was also home for the holidays so it was wonderful to see him. The whole Christmas Eve, all Eli and Jackson could say to Enoch was, “Hey, this is MY Dad. Did you see MY Dad?” It was so cute and heartwarming. They were definitely happy to see THEIR Dad.

Christmas Morning was spent at home. The Mickelsen family joined us for the opening of the gifts and a brunch. What a blast we had. Christmas Day was spent with Joe’s Aunt & Uncle and their children. We had a wonderful Holiday. I will post the pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning when I get a little more time. I also need to post the gingerbread house making at Grandmom’s as well. Those to come soon!

We were not able to get Christmas cards out this year because of a last minute funeral we went to in Utah between Christmas and New Years(a post on that will be coming soon as well) so please enjoy our “Card” below.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!

We love you and pray the new year will be wonderful for you and yours.

Love,
