OKAY - So this first photo is where the nail ENTERED into Joe's finger - yes, under the finger nail.
This second photo is where the nail almost came out through the top of the finger nail. So, it entered beneath the finger nail, hit the bone and then came out the top. Crazy, huh?
This third photo is of a cut from a week before the nail incident, SAME FINGER. Sliced the knuckle right open. Poor finger!!!

Sheesh, you married this guy which means your kids are automatically going to nail their fingers and have really cool scars, just like their dad--genetics are a beautiful thing.
