Have you ever had one of those days where you're trying your hardest to get out the door to the next party/meeting/errand and your kids are fighting/bickering and you can't find anything and the baby is perfectly fine/fed/diapered but she's still crying because she just wants to be held?
That was my morning, and let me tell you, it was not pretty.
So I stopped. Just dropped to my knees in the living room and asked my boys to do the same. And they listened. And while I held Gwen, who was extremely quiet by now, I said a prayer.
Prayer ended, we all took a deep breath, stood up and the rest of the day went off without a hitch.
That's the last time I forget to say family prayers in the morning. Jeez! ☺

I have those days A LOT lately...I don't know why I don't take the 2 minutes it takes to start the day off with family prayer, the days that it actually happens are a million times better. Thanks for the reminder.
