Our sweet and awesome friends, the Hortons, moved away a few weeks ago. I guess that’s what you get when you make friends with a dental student family who kicks butt at school and then gets an amazing job somewhere far, far away. Just kidding, they’re like 5 hours away which isn’t too terribly far and will warrant MANY, many trips out that way pretty soon!! Enoch is excited because Rocky wants to buy cows and a horse and stuff. It will be Enoch’s dream come true, a FARM, he tells me.
That’s life sometimes though, isn’t it? You meet some great people, you’d do anything for them and they’d do the same for more if not more and then… they move. Hmphf. Its okay. If all the great people stayed around us, we’d be spoiled and everyone else would just get jealous because we were hogging all the awesome people. ; )
These photos are of Enoch and I with their little girl Tayler. She has seriously made me A-OKAY with having a girl. She’s just a sweet little thing and hardly fusses. AND she can handle her rough and tumble brothers which is just awesome. Enoch and Travis just loved her, just as much as they love her big brothers!
That TONGUE! Oh, she’s so cute!
Here are the boys, hanging out, the last day that the Hortons were here. They were packing up the final stuff from their home.
From left to right: Konner, Travis, Hunter, & Enoch.
These boys know how to play rough but they are SO awesome with each other. They fish together, “hunt” together, get all dirty together, watch super heroes together, camp together… they made so many memories together that it made their leaving sting a little bit more. We love you guys, and we’ll miss you between visits pretty severely. You’re a one of a kind family and we’re blessed to have had a few years with you so close by.
Thanks for the memories and here’s to MANY more!
