So a friend told Joe that our blog was boring and that we needed to post more funny stories about Enoch. SO, here are a few...
1. If Joe and I ever have a "heated" conversation, not really arguing, but more passionate about a subject, Enoch feels like we are fighting. He will proceed to tell Joe, "Daddy, no! You stop it, that's not nice. You go to your bedroom, NOW!".
2. One afternoon Enoch randomly told me that he loved me, like he usually does several times a day. So I decided to play a fun game with Enoch and ask him about the things that he loves.
Mom - Enoch, do you love your Tutu & Papa?
Enoch - Yes
Mom - Do you love your Grandmom & Grandpa?
Enoch - Yes
Mom - Do you love your elephant toys?
Enoch - Yes
Mom - Do you love going to nursery at church?
Enoch - Yes
Mom - Do you love to dance?
Enoch - Yes
Enoch - Mommy, I love my poop. (serious look on his face)
Mom - Oh, you do? Well, that's interesting.
Enoch - Yeah, I love my brother too.
Mom - Well, that's sweet Enoch.
After a few minutes of back and forth banter, Enoch looked at me and started laughing...
Enoch - Mom, I don't love my poop, that's gross!
3. Enoch seems to find blondes attractive. We were watching the Country Music Awards last year or some music awards show and Carrie Underwood came on to the stage wearing this cute little gold dress and Enoch's response is: "WOW Mom! She's pretty!"
4. Enoch refers to his cousins as " RawleyBrody". They are one whole name, he does not distinguish between the two unless he needs a specific cousin.
5. Anytime one of Enoch's animal toys are stacked ontop of each other, they are considered "Circus" animals...that is fine by me. No need to get graphic people, he's 3.
6. Enoch fell off the porch at his cousins house and proceeded to say "Damnit..." as he stood up. (mommy got in trouble for that one.)
7. If Mommy and Daddy say "bad" words, Enoch will kindly tell us, "No, Mom (Dad), that's a bad no no. We don't say that."
8. Enoch likes to have sleep overs with his Tutu (grandmother, Joe's Mom), and lets just say she's a little quiet sleeper challenged. Well, Enoch woke up in the middle of the night one time, shook her shoulder and said, "SsSSH, Tutu, be quiet. Stop snoring!" and went back to sleep.
And to our friend, who kindly labeled our blog as boring: David, we love ya and we hope this makes you happy! :D
I will be sure to post Enoch'isms more often. :D
Happy Weekend Everyone!
