The Heart Beat

Well, yesterday was a good day. It's been a good week too. Joe's cousin Jr has been here since Monday, he left for UT this morning but it was fun to see him! We haven't seen him for a while.

Yesterday was the 12 week checkup with my Dr. It went very well. They asked a bunch of medical questions and I understood the majority of the lingo thanks to my medical transcribing knowledge, that was cool. Then Dr Jones came in and we listened to the heart beat! Enoch was stunned, he was so excited. We asked him, "Can you heart that? That's baby's heart beat!" and he continued to stare at my stomach and said, "...Right...". Agreeing with us of course. :D


After the appointment, we headed to Costa Vida for lunch with my sister Alana! YUM! And by we I mean, Joe, Jr, Enoch, Me and Alana. :D YAH. That was a good lunch. Love hanging out with her!

Then after lunch we were off to the Castle Rock Outlets! Joe and Jr were in need of a shoe purchase I guess. We shopped Nike, Gap, Ralph Lauren, Lids, Journeys, Motherhood and I think that was it. Joe, Enoch & Jr all got new shoes, Joe got new golf shorts and I think Jr bought some basketball shorts too. Then they were spending more at Ralph Lauren! :D Joe - Jacket, Jr - Shirt. Nice. Hey, I did get something out of this! I bought a new maternity shirt for that one day that I will be SHOWING.
But, all good things must to come to an end eventually. And that happened when my phone fell into the toilet. Yep, I'm one of those people now. Luckily, the bowl of the toilet had been FLUSHED, so far everyone has asked me that question. Unluckily though, after 24 hours of drying, the phone does not turn on. And yes, my whole life was in this phone! I did however have insurance and $50 later, I should be getting a new phone in a day or so.
