14 Weeks and Counting!

(fetus at 14 weeks)

So - Baby Doxey is about 3 inches long this week and weighs in at an ounce and a half. NICE! Supposedly, in the next month, Baby Doxey is going to triple in size and weigh around 1 pound. By this week the sex organs have fully developed but are difficult to see by ultrasound.

I actually have been feeling movement since about 11 weeks. Nice, huh? They say you feel it sooner the second time around because you know what you're looking for. I didn't notice Enoch until about 15 weeks.

(my non-existent baby bump at 14 weeks)

I'm still very sick, why am I being tortured this time around? Smells are just terrible for me right now and I didn't have the smell thing during Enoch... I was talking to a friend Saturday though and she said her second was a lot worse too but we both worked during our first pregnancies and just had no choice in the matter so we're guessing that's why #2 seems so much worse.

Everyone, and I do mean everyone, has predicted this to be a girl. We'll see. :D We are going to find out, we hit 20 weeks around the end of November so we'll let you all know when we find out. We won't be sharing names though. SORRY! We got a lot of flack for Enoch's name and I just don't want to listen to people complain about MY baby's name. We've already told Joe's parents and Bonnie is not a fan of our girls name so I'm done. Sorry peeps!

How exciting!! I agree with you on the name thing--I don't think we will be telling people the next time around...well, I guess I haven't discussed that decision with Randall yet--but that's my plan :)
