I’m addicted to taking photos of her when she naps. That face!

Our first time trying Mauna Snoa… and it was epic!! Love them! Its so nice to pick up chicken feed at Murdoch’s in Parker and then get some shave ice in the parking lot.

This kid started Scouts this year!!!! GAH!!! I have an 8 year old scout?!

Enoch was completely freaked out by the fact that Travis could spread his toes, something that Enoch just can’t seem to accomplish.

Enoch was then curious to see if Gwen could spread her toes… she made a good effort.

This girl loves her bike helmet and bike rides!

Enoch is addicted to riding his bike! He loves it! Travis, on the other hand, has absolutely no interest.

Happy Hour at Sonic is always fun!! I tend to not get out of the car until I’ve finished mine. So relaxing!

Okay, so I have a problem. Cut me some slack, they’re so cute when they sleep!!

Gwen loves eating other people’s food. Papa is always happy to oblige!

Sleepy girl. I still have memories of falling asleep on my dad’s stomach as a little girl – seriously one of the comfiest spots ever!!

 

I should have taken a “ before” photo so you could see how dramatic and amazing this was for me to accomplish but I spaced it. That’s okay, I have the memory for myself of how awesome I am! HA! I, with a regular hand saw, no power tools at all, hacked down this GINORMOUS juniper bush in the back corner of our yard. It was growing insanely out of control and it just devoured that corner of the yard. And it doesn’t help that junipers are seriously just bug catchers and homes for spiders and creepy things. It took about me an hour but I got it all cut out!! YAY! Joe was pretty impressed. I was pretty impressed with myself. Joe later went in and got rid of the branches that remained so it was a group effort for sure! SO happy to see that nasty thing GONE!!!

Check Ups

That one time I got to take Enoch & Gwen to their check ups! It was fun! Enoch was due for his yearly, and Gwen was due for her 18 months. She was 23 pounds and he was 72 pounds. STOP GROWING! It all just breaks your mom’s heart you guys!

We had to wait on a blood draw for Gwen, just normal routine stuff. She did really well and loved her sticker at the end!

Gwen fell right to sleep after her shots and her blood draw but Enoch felt pretty bad for her. He’s such a good big brother.

Walking the Wetlands

Joe & Gwen  came with me to scope out a location for a photo session and we had really great time walking around. I had never been to the Wetlands and the last time Joe was there, was in high school I believe.

My Life Saver for Summer Heat

We have AC and an attic fan which are both wonderful, but our bedroom is still the hottest place in the house no matter what. So I asked, nay, begged Joe to put a ceiling fan in our room. On one wonderful Saturday morning, he took about 20 minutes out of his busy schedule, and installed the fan for me!! It runs nonstop during the summer and has the winters off and I LOVE it!!! It makes all the difference in the world.

Thank you Joe, for being my awesome, hot, sexy Mr. Fix-It man!!!

Gwen loves her cousin - 02/8/14

Alana and the boys came over to hang out when we had my birthday, my mom’s birthday, and my dad’s birthday celebration. It was a really fun night and we enjoyed the family time.

We also discovered that Gwen loves Eli. It was the cutest sight to see them interact!

Enoch & the Chickens July 8th, 2014

Ever since the Chickens came, Enoch was dying to hold them but they would always just run away from him. It only took him a few days and he finally got Sally Jones to let him pick her up. He was pretty excited and Sally didn’t seem to mind too much. They are very sweet girls.

Travis was just happy to pet her while Enoch held her.

Enoch’s Baptism Day July 5th 2014

Enoch chose to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kids in our church can be baptized once they turn 8. Enoch was so excited on this very special day and couldn’t wait. I think its obvious that Joe and I were pretty excited too. It was a wonderful day filled with family and friends who all came to be with Enoch and celebrate his choice. What a special memory for all of us to hold dear.

Enoch, we love you and we’re proud of this wonderful choice you have made. You are most definitely a choice spirit and we’re so blessed to call you our son.

4th of July with the Outlaws! July 4th, 2014

We LOVE going to the Outlaw’s game for the 4th of July! Its seriously the best fireworks show around and you’re SO close you can practically touch them! We love it! This is a photo of Joe and I, which never happens often enough!

We had to bring earplugs and headphones for Travis since he hates the noise from the fireworks. It worked pretty well too because he didn’t scream or cry during the show. Success!!

The Horton's Visit! July 3rd thru 5th 2014

The Horton's came to visit for Enoch’s baptism which was SO awesome! We loved having them stay with us and it was so great to have them here for Enoch’s big day.
