Our first time trying Mauna Snoa… and it was epic!! Love them! Its so nice to pick up chicken feed at Murdoch’s in Parker and then get some shave ice in the parking lot.

Sleepy girl. I still have memories of falling asleep on my dad’s stomach as a little girl – seriously one of the comfiest spots ever!!
I should have taken a “ before” photo so you could see how dramatic and amazing this was for me to accomplish but I spaced it. That’s okay, I have the memory for myself of how awesome I am! HA! I, with a regular hand saw, no power tools at all, hacked down this GINORMOUS juniper bush in the back corner of our yard. It was growing insanely out of control and it just devoured that corner of the yard. And it doesn’t help that junipers are seriously just bug catchers and homes for spiders and creepy things. It took about me an hour but I got it all cut out!! YAY! Joe was pretty impressed. I was pretty impressed with myself. Joe later went in and got rid of the branches that remained so it was a group effort for sure! SO happy to see that nasty thing GONE!!!
