“grandmom’s zoo”, feeding the giraffes part 1

Enoch spent the night at his Grandmom’s house a few weeks ago and the next day, Travis and I went to the zoo with them.

We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs and Enoch likes to call it “Grandmom’s Zoo”. He’s visited it once before with her.

What an amazing zoo!! You don’t even notice that you’re hiking up the side of a mountain. We loved it and had SO much fun. Here are some photos of the trip.

Enoch had a blast feeding the giraffes. His faces are just priceless…

This was one of the younger giraffes, Enoch didn’t even have crackers and the little guy just walked right up to Enoch and let him pet him.

Too cool!

The tongues are hilarious. The little guy also tried to eat that little girl’s skirt. Hehe

My Mom even fed them!

This little guy was SO cute and reminded me so much of my boys! He was smaller than Travis too! CUTE!

The hippos. I’ve never seen a cleaner Hippo exhibit! It was cool.

Enoch had been looking forward to the naked mole rat the entire trip. In fact, this was all he could talk about after the first time he visited.

He even came home with a naked mole rat toy that is, believe it or not, uglier than the naked mole rats in the pictures. EW.
