Donating, I think, is one of the coolest things a person could do. You can donate anything! Your time, your talent, your organs, your HAIR. And in most cases, donating helps other people who are less fortunate than ourselves. I don’t know, there’s just something so uplifting about donating, even something not so tangible like a smile.
So, every few years, I grow my hair out, as long as I can stand it. I have donated hair 3 times now and it’s just SO much fun. One, for the donating part, and Two, for the drastic change that occurs!
My hair was LONG. So I gave my friend Lindsey a call. We swapped a few emails and fabulous movie star photos and set a date.
After a ton of chatting, laughs, boys rough housing and LOTS of hair on the ground later, we came up with this….

And I LOVE it!!! We did a little RED too. : )
And here, you have 14 Inches GONE, off my head and to someone else’s. : )

Hi Natalie! Loved this post about donating to a good cause. Wish my hair would grow as gorgeous as yours, I would donate it too. I will find another good cause I can contribute to instead.
