This is Rhino. I've been wanting to make this post for a while but kept forgetting to take a picture of the little guy. Its no fun without a visual aid!
Rhino joined our family on August 15, of 2009. He is a Roborovski Hamster.
Or a Dwarf Hamster.
This little guy was a bribe for Enoch. If he stopped having accidents, he could get a REAL hamster.
He is an awesome pet, although his cage gets a little smelly after a week. Its easy to clean though so I really don't mind. I actually had one of these guys when I was 17 so I guess you could say I'm a little bit of a pro at taking care of them.
The only thing we find annoying about Rhino is the noise his wheel makes when he runs at night. Its not the usual SQUEEK SQUEEK, its more of a rattling of plastic. Drives Joe nuts. I've learned to tune it out.

The nice thing about these little guys, this is as big as they will get. He fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. They are cute! Enoch and Travis love him. We have to watch Travis around Rhino when he's in his running ball, Trav likes to set him free....

LOVE IT!!! Ahhh ... you have started the lifelong habit of being a pet owner. Yes .. before you know it you will have a Hedgehog.
Do you need a bunny for Travis? lol!
