six years

 

I can’t believe its been six wonderful years since I married Joe. The time has just flown by and its been grand.

Six years and 2 kids later, I couldn’t be happier. Joe is the love of my life and I’ve been so blessed.

 

This year, we rented another hotel room. It was just so much fun in 2009 for my birthday so why not?

This time around, we stayed at the Sheraton, downtown Denver, right on the 16th street mall. It was gorgeous. We were on the 20th floor and it was a beautiful hotel. Amazing!

We ate dinner at BD’s Mongolian BBQ and it was wonderful,. so yummy! And it was so much fun to walk from our hotel to the restaurant, I love the 16th street mall. We did ride the bus back though, it was all up hill.

For our anniversary gift to each other, we bought a new stereo for the car. The stock stereo was awesome but we wanted to have to option to hook our iPods/iPhones to the stereo so we wouldn’t have to burn cds all the time. They also make stereo systems now that have BlueTooth technology so, if someone calls me while I’m in the car, the music stops playing and the call is over the car speaker system, totally hands free for me. I LOVE IT. It was an awesome purchase.

ANYWAY – The next day we ate breakfast at VI, which was yummy. Browsed a few fish stores, saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 for the second time and then went home to relax.

It wasn’t super extravagant but it was a lot of fun and much needed down time.

Not sure what that door is for but the I thought the toilet handle was unique.

I really liked the tile too!

Yes! It was an OUTdoor pool and it was OPEN! Too bad we forgot our suits!
