We started this project in late February and were hoping to be done before Travis came. Well, the weekend we started was the weekend I went into preterm labor. Surprise! So we finally finished it in July. Oh how I love it!! Joe did the floors and installed the fixtures, I painted the walls, trim and cabinet and put the new hardware on the cabinets. It was a ton of fun to do this and I hope many more projects are in our near future. :D
This is probably the coolest toilet seat ever invented! Its a Bemis seat and you can find these at Home Depot for $30. Great if you have kids! Enoch is not fully potty trained, but he feels secure when he uses it. One of his potty training fears was falling in!

okay that's like the coolest toilet EVER! Now, can you come clean my baseboards too??
We used to have one of those toilet seats and it was the best ever! The bolts broke (it was from Target) and I never could find a replacement! I"m So glad I'll be able to get one again when we need it for Alex (in a few years). I loved it so much I took a picture of ours too!
And, since we're on the subject, we currently have a Bemis toilet seat that is self closing, it closes slowly and queietly, which is great for when the kids are older and always dropping the seat down with a bang. Keep that in mind for when Enoch is potty trained and likes to do "stand up..."
Miss you!
