Well, Christmas is just about here. The shopping is almost complete. The Fuerst family photos have been taken for the Christmas cards...cards that we won't be sending out this year. There just hasn't been enough time for us. My Mother, however, will be getting her's out. Good on her.Joe and I have managed this year to be in on the Christmas festivities on Sundays at church. Joe is singing in the Choir and singing a solo...a very small solo he tells me every time I mention it to anyone. It's still a solo! I gave a talk on Christmas Carols last Sunday and I am SO glad that's over. And I will also be singing on the same Sunday as Joe with my Young Women.
Life has just flown by this year. Enoch turned one, amazing. He had a
We had amazing food, wonderful entertainment, and just a great time. Enoch's birthday celebration couldn't have been better!
Enoch is now 18 months old and just growing like a weed. He's walking and attempting to talk. Well, he does talk but most of it is not in English. He does say Mom, Dad, Ball, Fish and More very well though. And he somehow learned to spit. I guess being a boy, that just naturally comes with the territory.
As far as his health, he's totally normal. We just had a visit with the Cardiologist and had an ECHO and an EKG done. They couldn't find the two holes in his heart that he was born with but one of his valves is shaped funny. They said when the valves are shaped funny they either get stuck or leak and Enoch's is doing neither so they weren't too concerned. They don't want him to come back until he's closer to the age of 4.
Joe and I made it to three wonderful years this November. Time flies when you're with someone wonderful. I was sick with strep on the day of our anniversary (sorry joe). Joe did get me some flowers and a very nice present. :D My gift to him was about a week late because of the strep but he did get one in return!
Joe has been working nights since October. The job they are working on doesn't want them in the stores during business hours so they have to wait until they are closed to work. It's been a little difficult on Joe but he's surviving. He will be working nights until Feb. He is still enjoying his job and the guys he works with.I just took my mid term exam for medical transcribing. I passed on 98%. YESSSSS. I'm just about done. I know I've been saying that for months now but this time, I mean it. I have the transcribing left to do and that's it. If I graduate with an 85% or higher, I will be utilizing the job placement program they offer. This is a job that I can completely do from home. Over the internet and everything. Going through this class has really helped me discover a passion I never knew I had. The medical field just amazes me. I suppose all of Enoch's health issues have really helped me along as well.
To all our Friends and Family, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and have a Happy New Year!
We love you all and hope to see you in our near future.
