For Father’s Day this year I went with simple but memorable. I took photos of the kids, placed a scripture on a few of the photos, then printed and framed them for Joe so he could have one at work, one at church, and one at home. He really loved them! He’s a pretty amazing father to our children and we feel so blessed to have him in our lives. He provides for us physically and spiritually and loves us all with a passion. Thanks Joe, for being an amazing Father. We love you so much!

Outlaws Game June 14th, 2014
We went on a group date to an Outlaws game with these two awesome couples! We had a lot of fun and lots of laughs. Couldn’t have asked for better friends! Plus the Outlaws were amazing, as usual!! Love the Outlaws! Afterwards we went to Village Inn for some pie and fun conversation. Never knew coconut oil could be such an entertaining topic!
Thanks to the Nardones and The Ross’s for a memorable evening!

The Chicken Coop June 13th, 2014
Once the City Ordinance passed in Aurora that allowed you to have four backyard chickens, we bought a chicken coop. Joe was SO excited about it! I will admit, I was a little apprehensive about having chickens at first… The boys enjoyed helping Joe build the coop almost as much as Papa Nui enjoyed it! It went up in a jiffy and looked super cute. I actually don’t have a photo of the finished product yet but I will soon!
Gwen loves when Papa visits!
Travis and Gwen hard at work.
Sprinkler Fun June 13th, 2014
On a warm, sunny day, (Not warm enough for Travis mind you), Enoch wanted to play in the sprinkler. So we set one up and he went to town. I just love how this kid loves life. He enjoys the little things, and the happy moments. He loves to laugh and he loves making other people laugh. He’s such a warm, sweet, kind kiddo. Don’t ever change Enoch. Don’t ever change.

Enoch’s Art Project June 5th, 2014
This was an art project that Enoch made at school one week. I love it when they bring stuff like this home but they take up a little too much space for me and this mask was a little messy. They used oil crayon’s (?) or something like that and it was rub off on everything so we had to document it and say goodbye. I was really impressed though, Enoch has got some artsy skills! Loved this.

Children’s Museum June 3rd, 2014
Second year in a row, we’ve visited the Children’s museum on a free night to play and ride the trolley. Then we head up to Little Man ice cream for a cool treat. Except this year, we went at the beginning of the summer instead of at the end. We love hanging out with Stacy and her kids, they all just get along so well. This was the first time I had actually gone inside the Children’s museum, it was pretty neat! We had a great night and as always, enjoyed out time with the Zamarrons! Love you guys!

The Mohawks May 30th, 2014
For the first regular season Outlaws game, Enoch really wanted to go all out with a Mohawk this year. Hence the reason he’s looked like Shaggy dog in the last few posts. He was growing his hair out for this very purpose! He did a really good job but I think we all were happy to see the mop head gone! This was by far the funnest haircut I’ve given anyone! Enoch was a good sport too.
We used TONS of Elmer's glue for this hair style! He even slept on in that night and it still looking pretty amazing the next day.
Travis got in on the action too but his hair wasn’t quite as long so it wasn’t as dramatic. He still loved it and the boys got tons of compliments during the game.
So did this little cutie! She’s all ready for the Outlaws!
Lacrosse & Soccer Spring Season March-May 2014
Enoch played lacrosse for a second season and really loved it this year. His first year was rough; first time playing a team sport and never winning kind of hurt a little. This season was so different. He had a great coach and a lot of great kids on his team, even a few from last spring! They were undefeated the entire season, it was EPIC. This day they actually played a double header. We thought for sure they would be too tired to win both but they pulled through and won both games, it was great to watch! They played really hard and had great team work, GO BULLDOGS!
Us on the sidelines. It was always fun to try and keep Travis & Gwen entertained and off the field.
End of game high fives. Our boys went jersey-less for the second game since they were playing the other Aurora team who also had red jerseys. It was fun to try and keep track of Enoch since the shirt he had on underneath his jersey was red as well.
Celebration!..
Two thumbs up from Enoch!!
These next few shots are from their very last game of the season. It was such a great game! They played so well!
SOCCER!
This was Travis’s first year playing a team sport. He had a lot of fun but you could tell he was definitely not use to so much running. Our team only had 6 kids and half the time, only 4 showed up, so rotating and keeping kids rested was difficult. We were the smallest team in the league this year. They lost every game but one, where they tied. Travis still had so much fun and enjoyed spending time with his friends and making new friends.
His coach was his buddy Porter’s Dad. Adriana was on their team too!
Travis would run and chase the ball for a bit…
And then he would stop and do stuff like this on the field for a while, or have conversations with the kids on the other team and ask them where they got their shoes. He was so fun.
He would also do stuff like pull his shirt up and show off his stomach. He was a hoot!
Cheering for his teammates!

Go….
