Enoch Has Been Tagged!

Enoch has been tagged by his friend Marisa so we are jumping into Enoch's little mind today!

1. We are pretty sure Enoch will grow up to be the class clown. He thinks everything he does is funny and has to show you ten times in a row how funny it is.

2. Enoch LOVES to laugh. If you can make him laugh you will be his best friend! He won't leave you alone at all if you make him laugh.

3. Enoch is a very sweet little person when he knows you're having a bad day. I woke up with a horrible head ache and sore throat one morning and instead of begging to get out of bed and play, he just laid with me for a few hours and hugged & kissed me several times. :D

4. Enoch loves his Tutu & Papa (joe's parents) and his Grandparents (my parents). His best buddies though are his two grandpas. He would choose either one of them over Mommy & Daddy any day and they just have the sweetest, most relaxed relationship ever.

5. Enoch loves animals. Mostly dogs because he can pet them and squeeze them (a little too hard sometimes). He loves to visit the Zoo and see the elephants and tigers and birds. He says Eaya for elephant right now and ROAR for any type of growling animal. It's awesome.

6. Enoch will freak if anything has Lightning McQueen on it. HUGE fan of Lightning. He has the crocks, he has the toys, he's got the clothes, he's just enamored with the guy. :D And pretty much anything Pixar. Just can't get enough!

7. Enoch is our wrestler but only with Daddy. He has made attempts to wrestle Mommy and it just doesn't work out so well.

8. Enoch is our miracle baby and I don't know what we would have done without him. He has traveled a long hard road before the age of 6 months but he got through it with flying colors. He has to be the strongest person I know so far in my life to undertake so much at a young age and we love him dearly. He is our "buddy" and we couldn't live without him. :D

Enoch would like to tag, Owen M., Camden P., Tessa B., Alyssa & Parker S., Marisa O. (but she's already done this!), and Tyson G.

Enoch's Asleep

Our Night time routine includes reading the Book of Mormon Stories to Enoch and then having a family prayer. The first time we attempted this, Enoch was not at all excited. Now that we do it consistently, he has come to enjoy and love the Book of Mormon. After family prayer, he continues to "read" the Book of Mormon. Meaning, he just looks at the pictures.

Last night I guess he was a little more tired than usual and this is how we found him after family prayer.

Family Birthday Party

WARNING! This Blog Contains a TON of Photos.

For the past two years we have had family birthday dinners. My Mother and I have birthdays in January so we do the dinner between the two birthdays. My Father and my brother's now ex-fiance's birthdays are in February so we have the dinner between the two, so on and so forth for all the birthdays in our family. This year, we had the mix of the Jan birthdays and the Feb birthdays because of our busy schedules. Just thought I would share a few pictures. =)This is my older brother Joshua. ^^^
This is my Nephew Jackson ^^^
This is my Dad Rusty ^^^
From left to right - Kendall, Enoch, my Mom Kathy, Hayley doing who knows what, Alana and my Dad.Enoch stole the show by stealing all the home made scarves!
My sister Alana. A little too excited about her candy bag!
My niece Hayley.Joe was a little tired...Alana and her son Jackson just relaxing.

My presents!
Dad always seems to be surrounded by the kids. =)Enoch loves to help open gifts so he was helping his GranDad here.

I do have one other nephew and his name is Eli but he hates it when I take pictures of him so he's not shown here except for the one photo above where Dad is opening his gift, on the right side of the photo in the dark you can kind of make out his little face. Sorry Eli!

Joe's New Hair

Joe finally got his hair cut, much to the pleasing of the Elderly folks in our lives. I personally love it when his hair is long but hey, that's just me.

BEFORE

AFTER

I will admit that I do like the Pomp adore(however you spell that).

Sun Glasses, Anyone?

Enoch has discovered that he looks awesome in Sun Glasses. His latest favorite is Mommy's shades. Good choice, eh?

Enoch is now 21 months old and loving life. He has recently learned how to turn the kitchen tv on and start a movie on his own. To the amazement of every adult in the house. It seems like he learns new words every day. He started saying shoes, George(curious george), Mo for Nemo, Momo for Elmo, what's this?, bish(fish), mo(more please), and he does sign for thank you. He has learned that when you ask how old he is, he shows you with both of his pointer fingers that he is two. Well, almost two. =) He gives you the CHEESIEST grin when you ask him to smile for the camera. Gotta love it.Today I found Enoch in his play area, lounging in his little chair, watching his movie.

And this is what happens when a 2 year old is given a pudding cup.

And here is Enoch's best friend, he goes everywhere with us. Lightning McQueen!

A Week of Enoch

Enoch came flying down the hallway, rushing around the corner and ran into the bedroom door which he bounced off of, spun around and smacked his nose and mouth on the door jam of the bathroom. YIKES! Mom watched the whole thing happen in slow motion so she sat Enoch on the toilet seat and grabbed some toilet paper and just waited for the blood to come out of the nose. Mom did this so fast that Enoch hadn't even begun crying yet. So, he cried for a minute and then the blood came running out. As you can see below, he had a little bit of bruising on his nose and a fat upper lip.

Here, Enoch is enjoying the life of luxury - Watching tv with Mom & Dad.

Enoch recently discovered that he could remove his own diaper. Luckily, it was a clean diaper. He also feels totally comfortable in just his socks.
