Valentine’s Day came and went.

Gwen had her 2 month wellness check and did awesome. She cried less than the boys did when she got her shots. She’s in the 50%tile for height and weight, she’s doing great!

We hit up Red Robin after the DSW trip. It was our first official outing together since Gwen had been born. It was nice. She did so great.

Joe looks grumpy in this photo but I think he was adjusting Gwen. He had been watching the birthday special for Michael Jordan who just turned 50 I guess.

Travis is really enjoying our wood floors. They are just perfect for his cars.

These pictures span from December 2012 to March 2013. They are definitely nowhere near having the perfect lighting or focus or editing at all but they are precious photos to me. Moments that are gone yet have been captured.

I am so behind…

Have patience while I try to catch up.

 

My  Travis turned 4 this year. Truly, where does the time go? Since 3, he’s been potty trained (seriously the easiest kid to potty train ever), he discovered that he knows how to swim, he wants to do anything Enoch is doing, loves the color red or blue depending on his mood that day, still loves to brush his teeth, can count pretty high, knows his colors, wants to read really bad so we practice every night, loves artichokes and apples, loves pestering and pinching Enoch, loves lacrosse and basketball, loves Cars, Toy Story, Transformers, Wall-E, mermaids (I know, weird), his cousins, Aunts & Uncles, Loves his grandparents, and his great grandparents, and currently loathes sunbeams. He also became a big brother this last year which he loves! He cannot get enough of his little sister, he just adores her. He kisses her and hugs her constantly if she’s within arms reach.

Travis is also a great helper, if he’s in the mood. He’s very emotional and sensitive, takes everything to heart. He will let you know when you hurt his feelings. He’s quick to cry, just like his mother and that drives his dad nuts. He is a smart kid and picks up on everything. He is amazingly good at memorizing things too like songs or movie lines. The kid is hilarious with movie lines, he definitely gets that from Joe. One of his favorite “shows” is Kid History and Kid Snippets from BoredShorts.tv He also started preschool in February and really enjoys going every Friday.

We love Travis and we feel so blessed to have him in our family. We just wouldn’t be complete without him.

To explain this photo shoot, I use Travis or Enoch as a lighting test subject before every photo shoot I do. Most of the time, I come out with perfect pictures of their personality because they’re so relaxed and they think the shoot isn’t about them, its just practice for Mom. One day, they might catch on but until then, I will continue my sneaky photo shoots with my boys.
